after a few years of dopamine designing, some of our favorite designers have started trending back to black and white.

of course some never left the dark side (thank you Rei, Rick, Mary Kate and Ashley, Junya, Yohji) but after beautiful experiments with color, we have noticed an embrace of the more monastic hues.

it’s a movement we’ve also started to note in our favorite interiors… a shift away from just the neutrals, or just white… to taking up the stark contrast with an aesthetic rigor that’s intentional, not just color phobic.
