maison clé made to order tiles
when it comes to design and architecture, some people start with color, others with shape and form. some people we know see nothing but textiles. others obsess about lighting.
and us? we’re always looking to see what we’re standing on. and then we see what’s on the wall. and then the ceiling. this of course, is why we’re at clé: we’re simply obsessed with tile. hunting down the most authentic and storied, the most soul-stirring, toe-curlingly good tile is what we do, day in and day out.
the word curation is overused, but it is the essence of what we do at clé: we bring our clients the world’s best tile combining our refined aesthetic sensibility with deep expertise in materials.
but how to navigate all these options? since too much of a good thing can be overwhelming, we organized our collections into three curations:
clé classics, clé heritage, maison clé
clé slate 4×12 plank. design: heidi lachapelle / photo: erin little
cement pattern square in compass. design: house of jade interiors / photo: travis j. richardson
clé + zio & sons charred cedar octagon + bouchon (bundle). design / photo: jessica turf design
these tile curations aren’t just a matter of looks: they are as much about how they’re made, how they need to be installed, and how you want to design and live with them. once you understand our curations, you’ll find it’s a great way to shop for and find the perfect tile for your project.
keep in mind that once you’ve found the right curation for you (let’s say clé heritage), it doesn’t mean that you can’t use tile from other curations in the same space. we’re big fans of high-low (e.g. maison clé meets clé classics–subject to usage of course) but it’s a great place to start.
explore our curations. and then find the tile of your dreams.
