17th century: maiolica de delft is clé’s fresh take on the most enduring of timeless trends: blue and white tile. our collection features hand-painted, hand-glazed terracotta tile created by italian artisans using heritage techniques. drawing from centuries-old italian, spanish and dutch traditions,
blue and white are one of the most traditional color pairings in pottery and tile. our 17th century maiolica de delft collection plays with motifs both naturalistic and geometric, lithe and lavish, united by this crisp, compelling color palette that traces its roots back several centuries.
